This evening session will be delivered by Alexandra Taylor from ‘The Cat Nurse’ RVN C&G Cert SAN ISFM DipFN.

Alex will discuss:

• The history of the cat – what is a cat?

• Are cats truly domesticated?

• Cats and people

• Minimising feline stress in the veterinary clinic

• Unwanted behaviours

• Common behaviour problems – the VN’s role in first aid behaviour advice

Unwanted behaviours such as :

  1. Excessive scratching of furniture
  1. Urine marking and spraying
  2. Urine marking and spraying
  3. Inappropriate urination/defaecation
  4. Aggression towards people
  5. Aggression towards other cats and managing a multi-cat household
  6. Advice for owners of cats with FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis) the role of chronic stress and managing the cats environment

All delegates will receive a full set of notes and CPD certificate

Food and refreshments will be served at 7.30pm and the lecture will start at 8pm
