Nursing the neurological patient
Time & Location
About The Event
A neurological patient can present veterinary nurses with a vast array of challenges, whether caring for a spinal patient, critical care for a head trauma patient through to managing tetanus cases. Whilst anaesthesia for MRI or surgery can be extremely challenging. We will discuss the basics of neuroanaesthesia and touch on the important things to expect and to manage for the more critical patients and then consider more in depth critical care for certain cases where nursing care can make the real difference in outcome!
